The inaugural Scottish Whisky Awards took place in Edinburgh last week, with three Edrington-Beam Suntory UK brands receiving top accolades on the night.
In a wide-ranging blind tasting competition, gold, silver and bronze awards were presented to products achieving the highest marks from an expert, independent taste panel.
Bowmore 15 Year Old and Laphroaig 10 Year Old clinched gold for Single Malt 13 to 16 Year Old and Single Malt under 12 Year Old respectively, while The Famous Grouse Smoky Black won silver for Blended Whisky up to 12 Year Old.
A huge congratulations to all the winners and nominees! For more information on the awards, visit www.scottishwhiskyawards.org.uk/swa
