The highlight of the foodie calendar - Taste of London - was at Regent's Park from 19 - 23 June, with over 50,000 visitors taking part in the summer alfresco feast.
Our House of Suntory team was out in force at the event, hosting a Japanese sakura terrace where attendees were invited to sample Roku gin and Haku vodka cocktails, bringing the Japanese custom of viewing cherry blossoms in full bloom, known as 'Hanami', to life.
Our brand ambassador James Bowker presented an award-winning series of masterclasses, showcasing true Japanese hospitality with traditional cocktail making and a Kaiseki food-pairing experience. These masterclasses were named 'Best in Taste' by the organisers, in recognition of the incredible feedback received from consumers across the five days.
Following the event, James said: “It was a fantastic whirlwind of a week…it turns out people get very excited when you combine cocktails, flowers and Japanese food! Who can blame them?!”
