Viking Honour 12 Year Old reflects the unique culture of our remote island home on Orkney. Part of Scotland and originally belonging to a vast Viking kingdom. The heart and soul of Highland Park – a perfect harmony of aromatic smoky peat, sweet heather honey and rich fruit cake.

  • Cask make up: Sherry seasoned American and European oak casks; Predominantly 1st fill European casks, providing a darker natural colour and a mature fruity yet smoky character
  • Appearance: Natural. Glowing amber
  • Nose: Heather-honey sweetness, gentle peaty smokiness
  • Palate: Rounded smoke and honey sweetness, full malt delivery. Oak, alongside equal amounts of dried fruits and spice
  • Finish: Sweet and lingering with heathery notes and subtle smoke right at the end

Highland Park 18 Year Old Viking Pride

A perfect expression of harmony, complexity and refinement. Viking Pride 18 Year Old combines honey sweetness with delicious hints of cherries wrapped in chocolate, and subtle top notes of aromatic peat smoke.

  • Cask make up: Matured exclusively in sherry seasoned European oak casks for a minimum of 18 years
  • Appearance: Natural colour; burnished gold, clear and bright
  • Nose: Rich, mature oak; top note of aromatic smoke
  • Palate: Rich, full flavour; honey and peat
  • Finish: Soft, round and long

Highland Park Dragon Legend

According to legend, Viking warrior Sigurd killed the evil serpent dragon Fafnir. He was granted powerful gifts of prophecy and wisdom becoming one of the greatest heroes of Norse sagas Dragon Legend pays tribute to Sigurd’s courage and perseverance. The richer, smokier side of Highland Park, dialling up the intense aromatic smokiness produced by the hand-cut peat from Hobbister Moor.

  • Cask make up: Long maturation in sherry seasoned European and American oak casks
  • Appearance: Naturally deep golden, clear and bright
  • Nose: Lightly toasted oak, lemon peel, honey
  • Palate: Aromatic peat smoke, warm spices, vanilla, freshly cut wood
  • Finish: Medium length finish with waves of warm spices and sandal wood
