The Macallan Double Cask Gold
The Double Cask range comes from a balance of handpicked, sherry-seasoned American and European oak casks. The partnership of Oloroso sherry seasoned American and European oak casks creates this burnished gold whisky.
- Cask make up: 100% first fill and refill Spanish and American oak casks.
- Appearance: Burnished gold
- Nose: Lemon citrus, orange peel with an interlacing sweetness of vanilla and dark chocolate
- Palate: Medium sweet, malty and slightly dry
- Finish: Long with dried fruits, wood smoke and spice.

The Macallan Double Cask 12 Year Old
The Double Cask range comes from a balance of handpicked, sherry-seasoned American and European oak casks. Delivers a classic Macallan style with the unmistakable sweet influence of American oak.
- Cask make up: 100% first fill and refill Spanish and American oak casks aged for a minimum of 12 years
- Appearance: Harvest sun
- Nose: Creamy butterscotch with a hint of toffee apple, candied orange, vanilla custard and newly felled oak
- Palate: Deliciously honeyed, wood spices and citrus, balanced with raisins and caramel
- Finish: Oak lingers, warm, sweet and drying.

The Macallan Triple Cask 12 Year Old
A complex, lighter style of The Macallan, its character defined by the American ex-bourbon casks. A more versatile way for consumers to enjoy all the very best of The Macallan’s flavours and aromas. Great base for a malt long serve – the Copa, a refreshing twist on a traditional malt serve.
- Cask make up: Underpinned by a triple cask combination of Spanish & American oak sherry casks and American bourbon oak barrels for a minimum of 12 years
- Appearance: Rich Straw
- Nose: Complex, with hints of vanilla, melon and lemon zest
- Palate: Medium balanced with lemon citrus, vanilla and light toasted oak and nutmeg
- Finish: Lingering with melon, papaya, fresh oak and oak spice.

The Macallan Sherry Oak 12 Year Old
The quintessential sherry oak whisky, and classic Macallan celebrated worldwide. A matured character, the 12 Year Old delivers rich wood spice, dried fruits and a natural rich gold colour.
- Cask make up: Exclusively matured in sherry seasoned American and European oak casks from Jerez for a minimum of 12 years
- Appearance: Rich gold
- Nose: Vanilla with hints of ginger, dried fruits, sherry sweetness and wood smoke
- Palate: Deliciously smooth, with rich dried fruits and sherry, balanced with wood smoke and spice
- Finish: Sweet toffee, dried fruits, lingering wood smoke and spice.

Crafted from the broadest spectrum of cask profiles ever used to make a single Macallan which imparts unique influences in the resulting liquid.
- Cask make up: A combination of sherry-seasoned American and European oak casks - a high proportion of them first fill
- Appearance: Ruby red
- Nose: Soft notes of opulent vanilla and raisin give way to a sweet ensemble of apple, lemon, and orange. All balanced by a spicy quartet of root ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg and clove
- Palate: This spicy quartet are unwavering. Oak resonates, with vanilla and chocolate lead the finale with a light citrus zest
- Finish: Warm and woody.
